Rationale
The degree programs at Liberty University are designed to develop Christ-centered men and women with the values, knowledge, and skills essential to positively influence his/her chosen profession in the current and evolving world. This program prepares the graduate for the thoughtful integration of work and life and to view his/her profession as a lifelong commitment to serving others. Within a few years of graduating, the graduate will be able to advance in his/her professional career or graduate studies, be recognized as a critical and creative thinker exhibiting an aptitude for continuous learning, and display professional ethics and behavior consistent with foundational Christian principles. To that end, the objective of this course is to introduce the student to the engineering professions and prepare him/her for success in achieving a degree in one of those fields.

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to create a thread in response to the provided prompt for each discussion. Each thread must be at least 250 words, and at least one reference is required, providing citations in APA format as appropriate. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to the threads of at least two classmates. Each reply must be at least 125 words. (SO: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11)

Read and Interact Questions will be administered through CONNECT as the student reads the material and will be used to test the student’s comprehension of selected concepts.

The ABAs immerse the student in an engaging and interactive learning environment that simulates real-world scenarios in which business law concepts are applied. The ABAs have been created by business law experts and professors to address key business law course challenges, including improving critical thinking skills, increasing the number of assignable materials for the student to apply concepts, and improving the level of student engagement and motivation by showing the relevance of the course content to real life.
Bible Study on Law and Ethics in Engineering Assignment
The student will explore the intersection of law, ethics, and faith in engineering by studying relevant Bible passages. The 2-page paper will reflect on how Biblical principles can guide ethical decision-making and legal compliance in the engineering profession. At least 3 references are to be cited in current APA format.
