Course Description

This course is designed for the Doctor of Ministry candidate to complete the research and writing of the Thesis Project under the supervision of a mentor.

Rationale

This course facilitates your thesis project development under the supervision of your faculty mentor.

Course Assignment

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the candidate will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

The quiz is designed to review the student's understanding of the milestones throughout the course as well as the requirements. (CLO: C)

Quiz

The student will submit five (5) progress report quizzes over the course of the term. These progress report quizzes are to demonstrate the student is maintaining engagement in the research process while making progress on the final project. (CLOs: A, B, C)

Milestones are specific goals set regarding progress in the writing of the Thesis Project. These goals range from the completion and submission of a chapter to writing a set number of words on a chapter to distributing and collecting questionnaires. These goals should be based on where you are presently in the writing of your Thesis Project and how quickly you desire to complete the Thesis Project. (CLOs: A, B, C)
