Course Description

This course explores the nature and practical application of leadership in aerospace education and training organizations.  Students will develop a biblical foundation for leadership practices in aerospace education and training environments.

Rationale

This course will prepare the student to understand and apply sound and biblical leadership principles in aerospace education and training.

Course Requirements Checklist

After reading the Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in the Course Overview.

Student will submit a 5-minute maximum video presentation introducing themselves to their fellow classmates. Specific elements described in the assignment are to be included. This will be a graded assignment and you must reply to at least two other classmate introductions as well.

Discussions (3)

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences Therefore, the student must complete three Discussions in this course. The student is required to post one thread of at least 500 words and two replies of at least 250 words to two classmates’ threads. (CLO: A, B, C, D, E, F)

Research Paper Assignments (4)

3-5-page APA. Proper grammar, spelling, and references are required. Plagiarism will result in a zero for the assignment.  The APA Manual or https://www.liberty.edu/online/casas/writing-center/

Use the most current sources you can find which likely means the Internet. Make sure to cite all facts in text. You might start at the LU library for appropriate research references. https://www.liberty.edu/library/  

The paper should be on a topic of your own choosing because, presumably, you will be interested and do a better job. Try to keep the topic narrowly focused on your aviation topic.

5-page Reflection Paper of what you learned and how it will help you in your future goals and plans. Include specific examples of what God has done in your life over the last eight weeks and what you are thankful for. (CLO: A, B)
