Rationale
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is at the very center of the Christian faith. In the New Testament it is integrated with many Christian doctrines, as well as with many areas of Christian practice. A detailed study of this event, including objections to it, is warranted.

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt. Research Paper: Proposal Assignment
The student will write a proposal that includes the title page, thesis statement, outline, and working bibliography of at least 5 sources. The proposal must align with Turabian format. (CLO: B, C)
Research Paper: Final Submission Assignment
The student will write a 10–12-page research-based paper in current Turabian format that critiques a specific critical approach to the resurrection. Each paper must include a minimum of 10 scholarly sources and include a cover page, table of contents, introduction, thesis,
conclusion, and bibliography. (CLO: B, C)
Presentation
Students will prepare a presentation defending the resurrection against the specific naturalistic theory addressed in the Research Paper: Final Submission Assignment. The PowerPoint presentation will be 10-15 slides, utilize Turabian format as applicable, and should include additional resources that would be accessible to his/her particular audience. (CLO: B, C)
