Competency Self-Reflection Assignment
This assignment provides the student the opportunity to reflect on his/her current skills and understanding of each of the nine social work competencies. The student will use a provided template to evaluate his/her perspective of his/her competence for each and then identify strengths and areas for growth. The student will create two SMART goals for the competencies in which he/she would like to grow for his/her junior field experience.
The student will not submit anything for this assignment. The student’s assigned field advisor will indicate whether the proposal has been approved, after the entire proposal (Forms #3-6) have been submitted correctly and completely.
