Chaplains must be prepared to address a wide range of ethical issues. Police Officers, Corporate Leaders, coaches, and community members often look to chaplains for guidance and a spiritual perspective on moral and ethical issues. In light of this role, chaplains must understand ethics and exercise sound reasoning based on biblical principles. As spiritual leaders who lead by moral example and influence, chaplains must also exhibit high personal moral standards.
