LIFC 304 Leadership Coaching

An examination and analysis of coaching strategies that serves professional leadership concerns. Special attention will be given to leadership strategies for navigating project management, cultural awareness, inter-generational issues, and balancing work and home life.

The pressing concern at the inception of class is that God cares about how people lead and care for others. This course seeks to meet that challenge by equipping the student to biblically guide individuals how to wisely handle the leadership with which they’ve been entrusted.

Discussions (4)

Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will write 4 discussions and replies. The student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided prompt for each Discussion. Each thread must be 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 100 words. The student must support his/her assertions with at least 2 scholarly citations from the textbook in each thread and 1 in each reply. Current APA formatting is required. (CLO: A, B, D)

Essay Assignments (4)

The student will write a 4 essays in current APA formatting that specifically relate to the Module: Week content. The paper must include at least 3 citations from the course readings and/or research from the last 5 years. In all essays, there is a minimum word count of 400 words. (CLO: A, B, C, D, E)

Quizzes (8)

The student will complete various quizzes throughout the term. Each quiz will cover the Learn material for the assigned modules: weeks. Each quiz will be open-book/open-notes, contain 30 multiple-choice questions, allow 1 attempt, and have a 1-hour time limit. (CLO: C, D, E)
