Rationale
This course is part of the Cyber Security graduate degree program. This course provides a guide to software security, ranging far beyond secure coding to outline rigorous processes and practices for managing system and software operations. This course presents standards and practices related to key activities such as threat and risk evaluation, assurance cases, and adversarial testing.

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, there will be 4 Discussions throughout this course. The student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided topic for each discussion. Each thread must be 300 words and incorporate a minimum of two or more scholarly sources and two or more Bible verses. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 150 words and incorporate at least one scholarly source and one Bible verse.

The student will write a 750-word article review paper in current APA format that focuses on security engineering. The paper must include at least 7 scholarly references in addition to the course textbook and the Bible.

The student will write at least 3–4 bullets with 1–2 sentences per bullet that focus on security engineering. The papers must include at least 7 references in addition to the course textbook and the Bible.
