Making Your Transition a Good One
To help ensure that your move-in or move-out of Liberty’s residence halls runs like a well-oiled machine, follow the procedures below.
New students may arrive to check-in to their rooms on January 9, 2020, as early as 9 a.m.
You should go directly to your hall to check-in with your RA upon arrival, where you will receive your key and access to your room. Your RA(s) will be available on the hall for check-in until 10 p.m. Meal swipes at the dining hall will begin for new students at lunch on January 9. (Full meal plans will go into effect by 11 a.m. on January 10.)
Students returning to campus after Christmas Break may begin arriving as early as 9 a.m. on January 10, 2020.
You should go directly to your hall upon arrival and check-in with your RA. Your RA(s) should be available on the hall for check-in until 10 p.m. each night through Sun., January 12. Meal plans for all students will go into effect by January 10 at 11 a.m.
If you would like to move into your residence hall prior to your scheduled move-in date, you must submit an Early Arrival Request. The request form may be found in the Housing portion of your ASIST account. Requests can be made for arrival dates as early as Jan. 5, 2020.
- Jan. 9, 2020: New Students
- Jan. 10, 2020: Returning Students
The fee for arriving early is $15 per day, which covers only the cost of your room; dining arrangements are not included.
Upon arrival to campus, you will need to check in with the Office of Residence Life (located in Commons II) during regular business hours to gain badge access or pick up your key to your dorm.
