Checkout Basics
All students must make arrangements to be out of the residence halls within 24 hours after their last exam. If you would like to request to stay past that time due to travel arrangements or other circumstances, please contact your Resident Director. General information related to checking out of the residence halls will be communicated to students by RAs at Hall Meeting.
To request an extension to stay past the residence hall’s closing date, please see below for information on submitting a Beyond Checkout request.
Beyond Checkout Requests
Students wishing to remain on campus past the official closure of the residence halls must submit a Beyond Checkout request in the Res Life Portal. Beyond Checkout requests for the Spring 2023 semester are now open, through Wednesday, May 3. If you have any questions, please contact residencelife@liberty.edu.
