Liberty University Psychology

Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology offers three bachelor's degrees. Students in other degree programs can minor in Psychology, Sociology, or Christian Counseling. Liberty University Online offers an associate and a bachelor's degree in Psychology, bachelor's degrees in Human Services and Social Work, and a master's degree in Psychology.

Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in various psychological fields as students majoring in psychology are required to participate in a number of Psychology Department Activities that give practical field experience. PsyComm provides additional opportunities for educational growth through programs and interactions with department professors.

Qualified students are invited to join Psi Chi, the Psychology International Honor Society. For upper level students wishing to gain professional experience, the department offers an Internship Program. Students planning to pursue a graduate degree in psychology can apply each year for the Daniels Program, which provides mentoring and training to prepare students for graduate school.
