Biography
Dan Yerrington retired in July 2023 after 21.5 years of flying in the US Air Force from a NATO assignment in Madrid, Spain. He entered the Air Force in 2002 after graduating from the USAF ROTC program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, FL where he studied Aerospace Engineering. He served in a variety of flying and staff positions during assignments on both active duty and the Air National Guard, including instructor and evaluator pilot in 3 aircraft. He currently has over 2,700 flying hours in the T-37, T-6A, T-38, and F-15C. He taught with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at a military campus in 2011, and has been an online faculty with LUO SoA since 2017. He now serves at LU as Residential Chair and Professor in an endeavor to mentor and develop students in their pursuit of God and aviation education.
