Packing for a dorm room is an exciting step in preparing for college life! At Liberty University, we recommend that your student bring essentials to make their space comfortable and functional while keeping in mind the size of the room and shared living arrangements. Students are permitted to bring a car and park on campus, but they will need to have their vehicle registered and obtain a parking decal. You can learn more about parking and vehicle registration on our Parking page.

At Liberty University, residential students receive mail and packages through the Student Mail Center. Each student is assigned a unique Flames Box number, which remains the same throughout their time living on campus.

Dining Services is committed to accommodating students with food allergies and dietary restrictions by providing accurate ingredient information, allergen-friendly meal options, and specialized dining stations. The Reber-Thomas Dining Center features an Allergen Friendly station free from the 8 most common food allergens as well as Simple Zone, a locked pantry offering gluten-, dairy-, peanut-, and tree nut-free options.

Students with dietary concerns can meet one-on-one with a registered dietitian to discuss their needs, and those with medically documented conditions may request dietary accommodations. No, your student will not have to pay out-of-state tuition at Liberty University.
