With a Master of Science in Sport Management: General degree, you’ll gain a unique combination of courses in sport, recreation, and tourism. The General cognate prepares you for management, administrative and analyst roles in sports management and sports medicine fields.
Gain the skills you’ll need to handle marketing, finance, and facility and event management in sports-related industries, whether academic, government, amateur, professional and more. Our NCAA Division I Athletics and Club Sports as well as Outdoor Recreation and Hospitality facilities will help to shape your practical experience and give you a competitive edge in your chosen field.
The Sport, Event & Tourism Management program is led by experienced professors armed to teach you practical skills and propel you toward a successful career. They are dedicated to mentoring and supporting you from a Christian perspective as you pursue your career goals.

COSMA Accredited Residential Degree
Your residential degree from the Department of Sport, Event, & Tourism Management is accredited by the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). COSMA is a specialized accrediting body whose purpose is to promote and recognize excellence in sport management education worldwide in colleges and universities at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels through specialized accreditation.
This is in addition to Liberty University’s institutional accreditation.
