The School of Communication strives to educate students as competent, committed Christians in the art, theory, and technology of communication.

It is comprised of these two departments:

        Communication Studies

The School of Communication offers five undergraduate majors:
        English

Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language

Communication Studies
        Visual Communication Arts

Regarding teacher licensure: The School of Communication not only supports teacher preparation and endorsement in English and Teaching English as a Second Language, but also add-on endorsements in journalism, speech communication and theatre arts. These are accomplished through the School of Communication in cooperation with the Teacher Education Department. Those wishing to pursue teacher-related programs should seek information from the Teacher Licensure Office in the School of Education.
