About the Center
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Center for Music Education and Performance is to train and equip passionate musicians as skilled performers and music education specialists. The Center achieves this purpose by providing comprehensive training in music, whether you are seeking a career in music or wish to take classes on an elective basis.
The Center aims to develop music educators, ministers of music, and performers who are aesthetically sensitive, skilled, and professional, for the glory of God in the world through their craft and testimony of their lives.
Additionally, the Center provides training for those wishing to pursue these arts as minor areas of study and to provide satisfying musical experiences to students across the university curriculum.
