Naming Opportunities – Center for Music & the Worship Arts
Completed in Fall 2016, the Center for Music and the Worship Arts provides students from the School of Music with the resources they need to succeed.
Features of the 141,000-square-foot facility include a fine arts concert hall capable of seating 1,600 guests, 124 Steinway pianos, 43 teaching studios, two recital halls, and piano, songwriting, and music computer labs. This state-of-the-art facility provides music students with the tools and training they need to glorify God through their gifts.

Choral Rehearsal Room

Concert Hall & Grand Lobby

- A seating capacity of 1,600
- Accommodations for acoustic or electronic performances and presentations
- Meyer Constellation Acoustic System, advanced lighting, and media equipment
- Space for a 150-seat choir, a full symphony orchestra, and an orchestra pit
- Additional 150-seat automated retractable choir risers
- Evenly balanced airflow, coupled with double exterior and interior walls, ensuring minimal outside noise distraction
- Capacity to record live music and events directly into the Mathena Family Recording Studio, giving students and faculty opportunities to produce world-class sound productions

Guitar, Instrumental, Piano, and Vocal Commons
- Three large, acoustically designed rooms
- Used for group instruction music collaboration
- Guitar Commons for guitar students ($8,500)
- Instrumental Commons for brass, chamber, string, and woodwind groups (Named in honor of Ira and Lorene Owen)
- Piano Commons features 20 electric keyboards arranged for group piano instruction ($8,500)
- Vocal Commons where students can study in large and small groups ($8,500)

Teaching Studios
- 40 teaching studios for private music instruction in a sound-isolated environment
- Six large rooms dedicated to piano instruction, complete with two Steinway grand pianos
- 12 rooms designed for vocal instruction
- 25 rooms for woodwind, brass, film score, percussion, songwriting, and strings instruction
- Unique design featuring double walls, floating floors, and insulation to maintain acoustic precision
- Five large studios ($7,500 each) and 35 small studios ($5,000 each)

Wenger Rehearsal Modules
- 48 modules open from 7 a.m.-2 a.m., six days a week
- Available in two sizes to provide opportunity for private and small group rehearsals in sound-isolated spaces
- 48 modules, 8 feet by 9 feet ($5,000 each) and two modules, 9 feet by 12 feet ($7,500 each)
