Biography

Dr. Park has had a career of notable moments and is currently an adjunct faculty to the school of engineering. Additionally, he is also a professor in the department of mechanical engineering at POSTECH in Korea. Here, he was previously the Dean of Industrial Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of research affairs, and an associate professor. Dr. Park has also been passionate in the research field, being an associate research professor from 2006-2009 at the Mississippi State University and a research associate at Pennsylvania State University from 2001-2005.

Dr. Park is involved in a variety of activities while being a member of numerous groups: Society of Automotive Engineers, The American Ceramic Society, The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society, and the International Institute for the Science of Sintering to name only a few. He has been awarded multiple awards and honors throughout his career and a selection of these are listed below, along with some of his most notable published books, patents, and articles.
