Biography

Completing his undergraduate studies at Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Choral Music Education, Dr. Clifford Lambert, II holds a Master of Music in conducting from Oakland University and a Doctor of Worship Studies from Liberty University. A classically trained vocalist and conductor who leads traditional and modern worship, Dr. Lambert has learned to adapt to each unique musical setting. Dr. Lambert uses his experience to mentor and train musicians of all backgrounds, ability levels, and musical tastes to sing with proper technique and stylistic diversity. 

In addition to serving as the worship pastor at Liberty Baptist Church in Appomattox, VA, Dr. Lambert serves as associate professor of Worship and Voice at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Lambert’s research centers on corporate worship practices among Millennials with a post-modern worldview. As the host of The Theology of Music podcast and clinician for The Church Collective, a para-church organization aimed at resourcing, training, and encouraging worship pastors, Dr. Lambert teaches numerous vocal and worship-leading workshops throughout the year for leaders who are working their way through the paths of changing worship ministries.
