B.M. in Vocal Performance
Residential Vocal Performance Degree
The Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance degree includes 22 hours of applied music studies, two semesters of conducting, music technology, vocal pedagogy, and contemporary styles survey. At least 65% of the degree is specifically devoted to music studies on one level or another.
Students also receive practical application by performing each semester in one of several vocal ensembles, participating in two semesters of opera workshop, and highlighting their vocal development in both a junior and senior recital.
