Biography

Dr. Young-Man Kim is an associate professor in the School of Engineering at Liberty University.

Dr. Kim has held several engineering positions in the automotive and consumer electronics industries as a research engineer, quality controller, and R&D director. After teaching electrical and computer engineering at several universities as an assistant professor, Dr. Kim joined the School of Engineering at Liberty University as an associate professor in electrical engineering.

His research interests include machine learning, system identification, robust control, fault detection, and its application to wind turbines.
