Welcome to LUTC! My name is Chris Nelson, Coordinator for the Liberty University Summer Arts Programs. Our LUTC day camp offers elementary students a chance to explore performance with a musical theatre production. Students will learn vital lessons in team building, responsibility, and self-confidence. Over the years, we have worked hard to continue the mission of providing a safe environment for students to train, excel and experience the visual and performing arts.

We also offer camp opportunities for Middle School students and High School students.

Elementary Camp

Grades: Students who have completed grades 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
Camp Location: Liberty University – Tower Theater (directions)
Camp Dates: June 3 – 8, 2024
Class and Rehearsal Dates and Times: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Performance Dates: There will be 2 casts: RED and BLUE. The RED cast will perform on June 7th at 6pm and June 8th at 2pm. The BLUE cast will perform on June 7th at 8pm and June 8th at 4pm.
The Musical: Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka Kids
Camp: Students will learn the basic ins and outs of performance and putting together a production.
Meals: Campers will bring lunch each day. LUTC will provide snacks.
Enrollment: 80 Performance Spots Available [participate in all activities and perform in musical]
Tickets: May be purchased in June 2024 one of three ways:

Purchase at the door on the day of the performance. The Tower Box Office will open 1 hour prior to the show.

Costs & Deadlines

Enrollment Deadline: May 17, 2024

Cost: $195 ($100 due at time of enrollment. Remaining Balance due before the enrollment deadline: May 17, 2024.)
Sibling Discount Shen registering multiple children at the same time, receive one of the following corresponding discounts:
- For 2 children, 20% off the second registration’s tuition cost.
- For 3 children, 30% off the third registration’s tuition cost.
- For 4 children, 40% off the fourth registration’s tuition cost.
Multi-Session Discount: When registering a camper for two sessions, receive 20% off the second session’s tuition cost

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Full refunds with a 5% cancellation fee are available until 2 weeks before camp begins. Refunds are not available after that date.

*When registering online do not select “Active Refund” at checkout. This is an unnecessary added cost.

Thank you all so much for the great experience that Lexi had. I have to say that this was one of the best camps I have ever seen. She had so much fun and we never felt uncomfortable leaving her. You all did an awesome job and she is even more excited about Theater than before, and that is saying a lot. This was her first experience with acting and she cannot wait for the next time.

William had a fabulous time again and is already talking about junior high camp next year. Hard to believe, these 4 years have gone by so fast. My husband and I really appreciate all you and your staff do for the kids and for your Christian testimony.

Thank you so much for providing a wonderful week for these kids! My daughter Addison has enjoyed it immensely! This program was so well organized from drop off and pick up, to your helpful emails. We’re already looking forward to both of our girls being able to attend camp next year.

I just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff for the wonderful experience Bethany had at theater camp. This was her first time experiencing anything like this, and I believe she loved every minute of it. I think she would have stayed the entire summer if she could.
