Fall 2023 New Business Classes & Program Options
To increase your skills and better prepare you for your career, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is now the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Data Analysis. The School of Business has prepared the following content to assist in answering questions about the degree changes and course offerings that affect residential students only.
What has changed?
- New classes are available for the core business program.
- New classes are available for some of the cognates & concentrations.
Who can enroll in the new Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Data Analysis degree?
- New and transfer students.
- Current students may change their Degree Completion Plan to the new degree plan.
Am I required to change my Degree Completion Plan?
- NO. Students who are on the current B.S. Business Administration Degree Completion Plan do not have to change their DCP. They will need to review their cognate or concentration classes to ensure that they are aware of any changes to the offered courses.
- Current B.S. Business Administration students are permitted to change to the new Degree Plan. Students can speak to their Faculty Advisor in the School of Business for registration assistance and questions.
How can I learn more? Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with their Faculty Advisor or come to the Group Advising Sessions to learn more.
Group Advising Sessions
Group Advising Sessions are scheduled from 2-4 p.m. in the Center for Financial Literacy/ Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 1600 in the School of Business by concentration area. Please be aware that the faculty advisors for the listed concentration areas will be available on the following dates to answer questions about new courses and registration.
