Learn how to defend your faith.

Getting ready to go off to college? At college, you’ll encounter many different faiths and beliefs. Learn how to defend your faith at Liberty’s Christian Worldview Camp.

Explore your walk with Christ, and develop a well-rounded worldview with the Liberty University Philosophy Department this summer at our Christian Worldview Camp. What does it mean to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, all of your soul, all of your strength, and all of your mind?

Included Activities

  • Fencing instruction by our own Dr. Michael Jones
  • Rock climbing on Liberty’s climbing wall
  • Special lecture by Dr. Gary Habermas, department chairman and internationally-recognized scholar on the resurrection of Jesus

Topics Our Camp Will Explore

  • What it means to love God with your mind and with your life
  • What a worldview is, and why we all must have one
  • The most important questions we have as human beings and how the history of our faith answers these questions
  • Critical analysis of good (and not so good) aspects of our culture impacting our walk with God
  • The use of logic, argumentation, and critical thinking in our worldview and everyday decision-making
  • The role of the church and Christian witness and fellowship in becoming who we are meant to be in Christ
  • The importance of what we think as well as what we love, admire, emulate, and follow and its connection to us as people designed to worship what we love and follow
  • A course in critical thinking, logic, and/or Christian Worldview that you can transcript for your Homeschooled students (for 0.25 credits, or 0.5 credits if camper completes the assessments and readings) or benefit from as a local public school student
  • A College Prep course taught by professors at Liberty University who believe in the inspired, inerrant Word of God and use God’s Word during camp. Optional quizzes and assigned readings will be available to those who wish to take the course as a class for your homeschool transcript or as a College Prep class.
