Early and ongoing field experiences are crucial for initial and advanced licensure preparation. The continuum of field experiences required in Liberty's program includes course-embedded practicums in preK-12 settings and culminates in either student teaching or internship during the final semester. Field experiences are course-embedded requirements for designated courses in each program. Field experiences must include a variety of settings appropriate to the endorsement: multiple grade levels and interaction with diverse students (e.g., minority, at-risk and exceptional students). Documentation of field experiences for each candidate is maintained by the candidate and a cumulative field log is submitted to the Liberty University's School of Education upon completion of the licensure program.
Please note that Liberty only makes placement requests. It is the school's decision whether to accept or deny any placement request.
Once placement is confirmed through firstname.lastname@example.org, your placement information will automatically be entered into FEM of LiveText by the Local Field Office.
