Age of Credit
Liberty courses that are more than 7 years old are prohibited from applying towards a degree. Students with catalog terms prior to the year of implementation (listed below per program) will be exempted from this policy. Degree changes will not affect the policy, since it is based on the age of each individual course. Transfer credit from an outside institution will not be evaluated if it is older than 8 years. Once applicable transfer credit is awarded to the student’s degree, the transfer credit will not be held to the 7-year expiration timeframe since it is not Liberty credit. For individual questions on this policy please contact the Registrar’s Office.
