Physics Minor


Residential Minor in Physics

Gain insight into the universal principles and themes that God implements in guiding the natural world with a Physics minor from Liberty University. This program will deepen your understanding of fundamental governing principles in nature and the mathematical formalisms used to apply them to problems. It will also supplement your scientific or engineering endeavors.

Learn all major areas of physics with this minor:

  • Mechanics
  • Electromagnetism
  • Quantum mechanics
  • Relativity and more

Study under professors grounded in their Christian faith who have years of experience teaching and staying abreast of advances related to the topics of this minor.

The Physics minor is the only minor within Liberty’s Mathematics Department that is available to supplement Liberty’s  B.S. in Mathematics degree. Students in this degree program will be able to progress towards this minor during the summer break as the courses are online.

*Students with any major who have completed prerequisite courses MATH 231 and Calculus III are eligible to take this minor.
