What Will You Study in Our Strength and Conditioning Bachelor’s Degree with a Focus on Fitness Business Foundations?
As you move through this degree, your courses will cover both strength and conditioning as well as business-related concepts. The curriculum is designed to encompass the wide range of responsibilities found in fitness and performance settings. This interdisciplinary approach can help you see how different areas of knowledge connect.
Within the major courses, you’ll study foundational science topics such as human anatomy and physiology. Additionally, coursework in exercise physiology and biomechanics can help you understand how performance is analyzed and how training impacts the body. You’ll also dive into applied strength and conditioning concepts, including speed, agility, and quickness. Other topics of study include ergogenic aids, exercise leadership, sports science, and personal training.

How Do You Become a Student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Strength and Conditioning?
Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:
- Admission application
- Official high school transcripts
- Official college transcripts (if applicable)
- Admission essay
Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
