Biography
Mrs. Mary Dowell graduated from Liberty University with a BSN in 1997. While working on her MSN in Nursing Education (MSN-Ed) Mary was introduced to the use of simulation-based learning in higher education which became the focus during her studies. In 2011, she completed the MSN-Ed program at Liberty University and has been teaching in the School of Nursing since 2014. From 2014-2019, Mary worked as the Liberty University School of Nursing BSN Simulation Center Lab Coordinator and Director of the Undergraduate Simulation Center. Currently, Mary teaches NURS 104 and is pursuing a Doctorate in Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
