Courtney Bailey, PhD, RN
Biography
Courtney Bailey attended Liberty University for her BSN in nursing, graduating in December of 2015. In 2018 she graduated with her MSN in nursing education and began her PhD in nursing education in October of 2019. She is in the dissertation phase of her Ph.D. program and is conducting research on improving hands-on clinical experiences for nursing students. Courtney’s bedside background is in the neonatal ICU as well as the Pediatric ICU. She currently teaches pediatrics as well as conducts clinicals on a pediatric floor. Courtney enjoys connecting with students and watching them grow in their confidence to practice nursing. In particular she enjoys seeing them make connections on how to utilize the developmental level of children to reduce the traumatization they may face when being admitted on a pediatric unit.
