Spirit Band
Liberty University Spirit Band
The Liberty University Spirit Band is the “pep band” for Liberty University, performing primarily at home basketball games and postseason play. Performances for other sports may include hockey, lacrosse, and volleyball.
The ensemble rehearses Sunday evenings from November through March.
The Spirit Band performs various musical selections before large public audiences in attendance at athletic events and radio and television audiences. This ensemble travels with the basketball teams during postseason play, which involves fun trips where the members make lifetime memories.
Auditions
2022-2023 Spirit Band
- Auditions for the 2022-2023 Spirit Band will take place on Sunday, October 23rd, @ 6 p.m. in 059 (Instrumental Commons).
- Rehearsals will be held in the Band Room (160) on Sundays, 7 – 8:30 p.m. beginning Sunday, November 6th.
