Biography

Dr. James Swezey serves as a full-time faculty member at Liberty University. He began his career as an instructor with the United States Air Force. After his service in the military, he taught world history at a high school in California. After six years in the classroom, he became a school principal. After 13 years of serving in the K-12 setting, Dr. Swezey moved into higher education, where he enjoys preparing future teachers for the rigors of the profession he loves.
