With the added global and intercultural engagement track, you will find a focus on helping prepare you to travel and work overseas. Our BS in Information Systems – Global and Intercultural Engagement can help prepare you to meet the challenges of working with global companies as well as train you on computer, database, and business-related topics.
As part of our bachelor’s degree program, you will complete a capstone course that solves problems in the industry. You can also learn about other cultures, religions, and communication styles that can help you adapt to working internationally either as part of a corporation, government, or nonprofit organization.

What Will You Study in Our BS in Information Systems – Global and Intercultural Engagement Program?
Liberty University’s BS in Information Systems – Global and Intercultural Engagement provides training in organizational behavior, principles of management, project management, and some of the fundamentals of business law. In addition, you can learn how to integrate technology into the corporate world by studying applications, data systems, and business communication systems.
The global and intercultural engagement specialization looks at North American culture and communication styles and how they interact with the international community when doing business abroad. Understanding other cultures and their work environment, home life, and religious history will be of special value when working overseas. How Do You Become a BS in Information Systems – Global Studies and Intercultural Engagement Student?
Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:
- Admission application
- Official high school transcripts
- Official college transcripts (if applicable)
- Admission essay
Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
*Note that additional documentation may be requested by the admission committee after your application has been received.
