This concentration seeks to eliminate food deserts and enhance food choices through public health policy.
Are you passionate about nutrition and healthcare delivery, a career in public health governance, and serving in the global public health sector? Or, are you interested in making an impact through public health research? If so, the M.P.H. – Nutrition degree program could be a great fit for you.
Topics studied in this degree program include:
- biochemistry of cellular nutrition
- application of nutritional sciences to individuals and populations
- factors that affect food safety and food supply systems
- relationship between food system assessment and analysis
- processes involved in the development of food safety regulations and nutrition as it affects population health
Depending on your degree concentration, with a Master of Public Health, you will be able to analyze data, shape public health policies, contribute to monitoring public health threats, and conduct public health research. Our professors are grounded in their Christian faith, hold advanced degrees, and have experience in academia, government agencies, healthcare, and global health organizations.
Liberty University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program offers students access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources to enhance their educational experience.
