Residential Global Health MPH

Prepare for a meaningful career where you can help eliminate health disparities and establish health equity among vulnerable global populations. The Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Health will train you how to develop a systematic, proactive approach to identify factors impacting public health internationally.

The public health global specialist values diplomacy and collaborates within the context of the political, economic, and legal systems of unique cultures worldwide. They help to develop suitable solutions to shape local and global policies for health. Do you have a passion for different cultures, improving population health among diverse groups, and influencing global policies for public health? Do you want to serve in the global public health sector or make an impact through public health research? If so, the MPH – Global Health degree program could be a great fit for you.

Depending on your degree concentration, with a Master of Public Health, you will be able to analyze data, shape public health policies, contribute to monitoring public health threats, and conduct public health research. In the public health fields, an M.P.H. is comparable to an M.B.A. in the business sector.

Liberty University’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program offers students access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources to enhance their educational experience. With the M.P.H. practicum, you’ll be able to apply the knowledge and skills you learn in the classroom to real-world experiences in the field under the direction of a preceptor/supervisor and with guidance from the Director of Practicum.

The Master of Public Health is offered by Liberty’s Department of Public Health in the School of Health Sciences. The M.P.H. – Global Health is also available online.
