Biography
Dr. Rick Albright has over 20 years’ experience as a counselor/counselor educator, spending a number of years as a professional school counselor before securing his Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Penn State University in 2011. He is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified counselor and a nationally certified school counselor. He has worked in private practice regularly over the past fifteen years, where his specialization is counseling children and teenagers. He presents regularly at regional and national conferences on topics such as Trauma-Informed School Counseling, Supporting Student-Athletes, Adventure-based Counseling, Grit, and School Connectedness. He enjoys hiking, biking, camping, sports, and many other outdoor activities with his wife and four children.
Dr. Albright currently serves as a Chapter Faculty Advisor (CFA) for the Chi Sigma Iota Rho Eta online student chapter Rho Eta Nu Gamma.
