Throughout our comprehensive strength and conditioning bachelor’s degree program, you will dive deep into physical fitness, health, and human performance. In this degree program, you will start your journey by taking human anatomy and physiology courses. In these courses, you can learn about the essential functions of the human body, including human chemistry, anatomy, and organ systems. You’ll also explore psychological foundations to better understand how the human brain operates and impacts human performance.
As you progress into your major core courses, you’ll take an Introduction to Exercise Science and Physiology of Exercise course. Throughout these courses, you can gain an understanding of exercise science theory and an overall comprehension of human movement.
Furthermore, you can gain exposure to training methodologies and understand how to design and implement tailored fitness programs. You can discover how dietary choices impact the body, energy levels, muscle development, and overall athletic performance. You can also learn about advanced strength training, weight training, speed, agility, quickness, and leadership through exercise.
As you learn and develop the skills needed to step into the world of strength training and conditioning, you can also expand and enhance your skills with hands-on opportunities such as practicums and certifications. As a graduate of this program, you will be provided with the information and tools needed to sit for the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam.*

How Do You Become a BS in Strength and Conditioning Student?
Every application is reviewed by the admission committee on a case-by-case basis, meaning there are no set minimums for acceptance. However, all applicants must submit the following documents* for admission:

- Official high school transcripts
- Official college transcripts (if applicable)
- Admission essay
Results from the CLT, SAT, or ACT are not required for admission, but may be used in consideration for merit-based aid.
