BA in Int. Rel. – International Politics and Policy

Liberty University’s Helms School of Government honors the school’s namesake, Senator Jesse Helms: his push for the conservative movement and his promotion of traditional values in politics and government. By earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations – International Politics and Policy degree, you can have the chance to become a positive change not only in the U.S. but also in the international arena.

This degree provides you with the background you need to make sound decisions in politics, both in the United States and abroad. Besides studying international relations policy, you can also study international law and how American foreign economic policy has affected both the U.S. and the world at large.

Perhaps the most attractive part of our degree is the opportunity for highly visible internships through our Washington Fellowship program. As part of our GOVT 499 course, all juniors and seniors majoring in international relations, who have met the proper requirements, have the opportunity to spend a semester as an intern with an approved organization in their respective disciplines.
