Children’s Ministry Minor

Residential Minor in Children’s Ministry

Enhance your future career with the ability to effectively share the Gospel and communicate with young age groups. With a minor in Children’s Ministry from Liberty University, you’ll learn the biblical foundations for valuing children as the youngest mission in the church.

Study under academically credentialed faculty with years of experience ministering to children and families in the local church, camp ministries, and other parachurch ministries. Through this minor, you’ll learn how to be creative in teaching children at different levels of development with courses in the theological principles of children’s ministry, curriculum design, and lesson planning.

Gain hands-on experience in ministering to children as you observe their behavior and learning styles in the classroom and local church settings.
