History
Chi Iota Sigma is the first Christian Interdisciplinary Studies honor society in the nation. The idea to establish this honor society emerged from a shared vision within the Interdisciplinary Studies department. It began a movement towards academic excellence and community building among INDS students. Under the guidance of the department chair, the society took form. And a group of dedicated INDS students quickly formed into a team of society officers. The society officially launched in the Fall semester of 2023. More than 70 INDS students attended the first meeting. This memorable induction ceremony celebrated the academic achievements of our Interdisciplinary Studies students. That and future meetings also provide a rich time of fellowship among administration, faculty, staff, and students.
