Homeschool Curriculum Online Courses
Liberty University Online Academy offers five core subjects (Bible, Language Arts, Mathematics, History, and Science). In addition, your child can choose from a variety of elective courses such as Health, British and American Literature, and History of the Constitution, Home Economics and others. Contact our Admissions department (866-418-8741) for information on upcoming electives; new courses are continually added to the curriculum.
The Liberty University Online Academy's program is entirely customized to the unique educational needs of your student. If your student needs reinforcement in certain subjects, we can create a customized subject course to help your student do just that. Similarly, if your student is advanced, we will place him or her in the appropriate level for each subject.
Our flexible program accommodates students at any time of the year - enroll when it's convenient for your student. With prior approval from Liberty University Online Academy, high school students may take additional courses and electives outside of those offered by the Academy, including self-designed, non-standard classes.
Dual Enrollment with Liberty University Online
The Edge program enables high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college-level courses for dual credit through Liberty University Online. Edge curriculum is offered online in eight-week formats, allowing students to complete several college courses during their junior and senior years. Each student is assigned an Academic Advisor who will coach the student toward high school graduation, enrollment in dual enrollment courses, and other opportunties such as the CLEP exams in earning college credit while still enrolled in high school.
