06/01/2026 to 05/30/2027 • Modified 04/14/2026
Course Description
This semester-long course encourages students to establish a biblical perspective on the body, health, and self-image. Students participate in stretching, running, aerobic, and anaerobic exercises. Using the acquired knowledge, students create their own workout and recovery plans. Participation is documented through the submission of an activity journal, and mastery through the submission of video recordings of the student’s exercise activities. While the course is designed for tenth-grade students, it may be taken by any high school student.
A video camera, a cell phone with video capability, or a computer with a webcam is required to film short video segments of exercises or activities.
