The students apply this knowledge while engaging in a community service project at the end of the course. Further investigation of body systems expands students’ previous knowledge from earlier health classes. Students will evaluate effective personal hygiene and preventative measures to maintain good health and analyze the impact of substance abuse on overall health. Additionally, students complete a project related the exploration of various careers in the field of health.
