Explore Opportunities to Build Meaningful Community with Other LUOA Students
Our student clubs are a great way for our students to connect with their peers at LUOA! By joining a club, students will have the opportunity to build meaningful community, grow in their knowledge, and explore a fun and exciting area of interest. Plus, we send you a free LUOA Clubs t-shirt for joining a club!
All clubs meet virtually one time a month using Canvas and WebEx and are sponsored by current LUOA teachers and administration. Each club meets from October through May. In addition to the monthly meetings, students are invited to participate in activities and discussions throughout the month. Each club typically has around 20-25 students.
The day and time the club meets is determined by the Club Sponsor and will be communicated prior to the first meeting in October. Club Sponsors aim to create a consistent meeting time. For example, a club may meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 3:00 pm. Typically, clubs meet in the afternoon or evening and follow Eastern Standard Time. If your student signs up for a club and the time does not work, just email LUOAClubs@liberty.edu, and we can help them find a new one!
