AP, CLEP, and Dual Enrollment: Is It All Really Worth It?

In this session, you’ll learn which of your hard-earned AP, CLEP, and dual enrollment credits will transfer to Liberty University. Additionally, you’ll walk through the process of integrating transfer credits into your Liberty degree completion plan so you can graduate early!

Your Support Team: We Are Here for You

Behind every great student is a crew of people supporting them. This session will introduce you to tutoring services, Academic Peer Mentoring, the Writing Center, and other offices like our Spiritual Development Team, to help you succeed both at Liberty and in life.

Life After Liberty

As important as the next four years in college are, so is what happens after you graduate. Learn about the many resources that are available through Career Services to help students and Alumni find internships and careers after graduation. You’ll also hear about some of the amazing things our alumni have gone on to do.

Guests attending each DecideLU event are able to register to meet one-on-one with either Resident Admissions, Financial Aid, Transfer Evaluations, Student Accounts, or Military Affairs. Students may also schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor for their major of interest. Guests can register for their appointments at www.liberty.edu/dluappointments

Funding Your Future

We know paying for college can be a tricky process, so we will equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to navigate the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), loans, and grants. You’ll also receive tips from our expert team on how to obtain outside aid and learn about Liberty’s institutional scholarships.

Dorm Life, Dining & Wellness

This session includes information about housing options, community support, and mentorship found in our on-campus dorm life. We’ll also introduce our world-class dining facilities and programs, as well as our health and community support team, all of which are here to help you be healthy and thriving during your time at Liberty!

Campus Safety & Security: Keeping You Safe

Your safety on campus is important to us, so you deserve to know how our on-campus police force is here for you. With one of the safest campuses in Virginia, they do more than maintaining parking passes.

Academic Focus Tours

This tour will focus on some of our world-class academic facilities like the Jerry Falwell Library, DeMoss Hall, the Freedom Tower, and other schools on the Academic Lawn.

Student Life Focus

Check out some of the dining locations, student activities, and athletic facilities that are available to Liberty students. This includes the Food Court at Reber-Thomas, the Montview Student Union, Lahaye Recreation and Fitness, and the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre.

Surviving Your First Year Experience

Transitioning to a new home can be challenging – so we want to make sure you are equipped for your first year here at Liberty. Follow current students and experience firsthand how to use your Flames Pass, navigate the bus routes, where to park, laundry access (you’re welcome mom and dad), and so much more!

Open Model Dorm Rooms

Catch a shuttle from the Liberty Arena to be driven directly to our model dorm rooms. Spend some time exploring and planning out all that you’ll need for your home away from home. Be sure to ask our current students questions about their experience living on campus when you arrive at each location.
