Biography
Dr. Heckler Cheyne is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor, a National Certified Counselor, and is a Diplomate Clinician in Viktor Frankl’s Logotherapy. She is specialized in logotherapy, the treatment of substance abuse and addictions, offenders, child abuse and neglect, foster care and adoption, and crisis and trauma counseling. Her clinical and research interests include neurocognitive and neurodegenerative disorders in older adults, adolescents, multiculturalism, socioeconomic status, offenders, the search for meaning and purpose, crisis and trauma, adoption and attachment. She supervises counselors-in-training and Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Associates. Dr. Heckler Cheyne is an active member of numerous professional organizations and she is a national and international presenter.
