Biography
LaVerne Ware has experience in both school counseling and clinical counseling. During her tenure she was named Georgia’s, Region 3 Counselor of the Year and was a recipient of the National Planning for Life Award. She has served in the school counseling field for over 20 years, during which time she was the Coordinator of Counseling in Atlanta Public Schools and a Professional School Counselor.
Dr. Ware maintains a Georgia certificate in school counseling and an educational leadership certificate. Also, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-GA) and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS-GA). Dr. Ware is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), American School Counseling Association (ASCA), Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA), and the Licensed Professional Association of Georgia (LPCAGA). She has co-authored book chapters, presented at numerous conferences, and trained countless counseling professionals.
