RA Selection Information for 2013-2014
Prior to filling out the RA application, you will need to take the following personality tests:

Once each of these tests has been completed then complete the RA Application use the following link:

If you have not been an SLD

You will need to take the Bible Knowledge/OSL Test. Use the study guide provided then take the test and turn it into your RA by Friday, January 18th.

If selected, you will be required to attend an SLD 220 training session as well.
Eligibility
1. You must have a testimony of being a Christian and practicing the lifestyle of a Biblical believing Christian.
2. You must be a student of Liberty University in good standing in both academics and conduct.

You must be enrolled at Liberty during the RA application process.

Your cumulative GPA (including Fall 2012) must be 2.5 or above to apply. Failure to maintain a 2.5 GPA while in the RA program will result in Academic Probation and possible dismissal from the program.

You may not apply if you have obtained 12 or more reprimands during the current semester (Fall 2012). Past discipline records may be considered during the application process as well.
3. You must have the availability to carry out the RA responsibilities.

You may not student teach or be a junior Nursing Major either the Fall of Spring semester of the 2013-2014 school year.

Special evaluation will be given to the applicants in certain academic programs, which may pose a significant challenge to successfully completing the academic programs and RA duties (i.e. Nursing, Business Policy).

RAs for the '13-'14 school year may not participate in extracurricular activities (i.e. athletic teams, debate, marching band) that conflict with RA duties and responsibilities.

There will be blackout days given once you make RA such as RA Training in August, Leadership Banquets, CFAW, Spring Orientation, etc.
Calendar of RA Selection Process

Application due by midnight – Wednesday, December 5th, 2012

Each RA applicant will be interviewed by their home RD in a Group Setting & Individually – Between December 6th, 2012 & January 18th, 2013.

For applicants that are currently PLs, the Bible and OSL Test must be completed and turned into your home RA – Friday, January, 18th

First round cuts are announced – Friday, January 25th

RA Experience Weekend. We will begin on Friday night, February 1st at 5:30pm and goes through Saturday, February 2nd at 6pm

RA Applicant introduced during hall meeting to host hall – Tuesday, February 5th.

Hosting Week – Monday, February 4th through convocation on Friday, February 8th.

Final Cuts are announced – February 25th, 2013

Fall Placement is announced – March 4th, 2013
