'Come now, let us reason together,' says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool." - Isaiah 1:18 (ESV) I woke up this morning with a light coat of snow over the ground (the first snow this season) and was reminded of this promise of God. Through the gospel of Jesus Christ, God offers forgiveness! Let us continue to 'reason together' as we study what God is doing through global missions."

At my church we are learning the letter to the Philippians. I have found the beginning of the second chapter to be encouraging to many members of our congregation. It reads: "Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." A body of believers seeking after the mind of Christ together is one of the greatest sources for hope, peace, love and encouragement that can be found on earth. Please don't try to be Christian on your own. Each of us needs fellow believers around us.
