Summer Experiences: Mesa Global

Immerse yourself into a new language and culture through our Avance Immersion Program! Visit the unreached places of Thailand and surrounding countries, dive deep into language learning, and serve in local ministries and churches with a great team of fun & experienced leaders in Bangkok, Thailand!

What to Expect:

– Be equipped through cross-cultural and spiritual formation training (pre- and on-field)
– Enroll in Thai language classes to connect with the culture and engage in ministry at a heart-level
– Experience cross-cultural immersion in a bustling international city
– Have weekly rhythms with a team of young adults & seasoned leaders
– Travel within Thailand and to surrounding countries to catch a vision for the unreached in Asia
– Serve in local ministries: English camps for kids, prayer ministry, and others. NOTE: bar outreach in red-light district is for women only
– Learn how to use your skills & giftings to glorify God
– Support raising training before you go

Learn and grow in your understanding of God’s love and his church, forge deep friendships with other interns and those in your placement church, all while opening up doors for your future launch into ministry!

What to Expect:

– Attend online summer theological classes 1 a week in your cohort
– Be placed in a local church with another intern (American or British)
– Live in a host family from the church
– Take a week trip to mainland Europe with all summer interns for a theological conference
– Receive training the first week and a debrief the last week with all summer interns
– Support raising training before you go
