Summer Experiences: GVI – Community Development in Ghana
Community Development in Ghana
GVI
Ghana, located in a subregion of West Africa, has a rich cultural heritage stretching far into the early medieval ages, and it is here that we aim to support communities in their efforts to improve the quality of basic education offered at schools and provide women with the support they need to become more financially independent and socially empowered. GVI’s projects focus on combining practical vocational skills, such as IT literacy, English language, or commercial catering, with more specialized support in healthcare, confidence-building and gender equality theory.
You can also hear from and speak to GVI staff and experts at their monthly Open Days: https://www.gviusa.com/gvi-open-day/. Register now for your Open Day discount!
